Welcome!

I’m a computational biologist with a PhD in cancer immunology & bioinformatics. I worked in biotech R&D on an antibody now available to patients, taught immunology in a Scottish prison, and served as a mentor in the Polonium Foundation. Committed to reproducible science - trained via UKRN & EMBL. I enjoy cycling, photography and I’m a mediocre bachata dancer. Open to collaboration!

Research

My work centers on precision medicine: devising better treatments and matching them with individuals. Some of my interests: Immune Checkpoints: exploring immune-modulating proteins in cancer with omics and networks. Immune Repertoires: building tools for immune sequencing in COVID research. Comparative Oncology: treating dog cancers for cross-species insights, using antibody engineering. Key tools: R, HPC (Slurm), NGS, Linux/Bash, Docker. Steal my resources!

Career

After an MSc in Biotech, completed between Poland and Italy, I worked for Polpharma Biologics, an antibody development company. Next, I joined an international PhD program, where I worked at the Roslin Institute, The University of Edinburgh (UK) and the University of Gdansk (PL). Here, I received a grant from the British Society for Immunology, presented at AACR (USA), SPP Oxford (UK) and published in peer-reviewed journals (CV). Recently, I’ve been freelancing & serving as an EU grant expert.
